  • To report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles.
  • To actively make sure the repair method is in the job pack and is fully read, understood (e-scribe, manufacturer or other source) and displayed with the vehicle at all times.
  • Check Vehicle for warning lights / safety checks, beam setting completed and logged, raise awareness and note on job card.
  • All mechanical work completed in accordance to the agreed specification.

  • To ensure safe delivery / collection of all customers vehicles in accordance with the Driver Procedure & Responsibilities Manual and Drivers Process Manual.

Key responsibilities

  • To ensure safe delivery / collection of all customers vehicles. Ensure you contact every customer before arrival.
  • Complete all Job Pack paperwork neatly and legibly and obtain signatures where required.
  • Mark all damage on vehicle with chalk pen before taking images.
  • Ensure Customer Vehicle Condition Report is complete in addition to any images taken before passing to Estimators.
  • Follow all procedures within the Drivers Procedure and Process Manuals.
  • To comply with the Drivers Tacho Break Regulation 2009 (if applicable).
  • Policy Excess, VAT Bills and Private Quotes – ensure payment has been taken before leaving site – if payment has not been paid, query with the Transport Manager.
  • Ensure courtesy cars are up to standard and safe for customer use. Report any defects or damage to Transport Manager immediately.
  • Ensure you follow the correct procedure when dealing with customer complaints.

  • Productivity of workshop

As an Assistant Bodyshop Manager, you will play an integral part in supporting the Bodyshop Manager in the efficient running of the workshop, by being the sole point of contact for the customer during the repair of their car.

Responsibilities of an Assistant Bodyshop Manager will include:

  • Greet customers in a professional manner, check in the customer’s car and hand over the courtesy cars and complete all necessary documents
  • Discuss with the customers what repairs we intend to carry out, set the customers’ expectations correctly, advise ECD. Listen to the customers’ requirements and concerns
  • Work with the Bodyshop Manager to ensure the customers’ expectations are met and the preferred communication method is adhered to
  • Ensure the customers’ expectations are communicated effectively with the production team and the preferred communication method is logged and adhered to
  • Assist the central function’s day to day running of the transport function at site, ensuring the drivers conduct their duties effectively, have all uniform and equipment required and ensure an excellent customer service experience is maintained
  • Create an iimage job card and ensure the parts ordering process is followed correctly
  • Ensure all invoices are correctly uploaded onto iimage
  • Proactively communicate the customer throughout the repair process and ensure any dissatisfaction is identified and resolved
  • Continually check progress advise the customer of any changes of ECD immediately
  • Ensure a good understanding of Service Level Agreements with current insurance partners to meet expectations
  • Ensure the customer’s excess is collected and any other applicable charges and record accurately all required accounting paperwork
  • Final QC, ensuring we repair the vehicle once before leaving site.
  • Ensure workshop documentation is accurate and comprehensive
  • Support the Production Manager in monitoring, maintaining and improving safety and quality standards, ensuring they are at the heart of everything
  • Encourage customers to leave positive reviews across various platforms (insurer, google, trustpilot) to deliver NPS and CSI targets
  • Work in partnership with central functions to ensure a strong understanding or process
  • Assist the central function’s day to day running of the transport function at site, ensuring the drivers conduct their duties effectively, have all uniform and equipment required and ensure an excellent customer service experience is maintained.

Skills and experience required as an Assistant Bodyshop Manager:

  • Previous experience in a team lead, supervisory or customer service focused role ideally within the automotive industry
  • A proactive and customer focused individual eager to get things right first time and ensure a positive customer experience

  • Accurately document and identify all components, materials and consumables used.
  • Protect customers vehicles with covers and dust sheets etc.
  • Safeguard the customers’ vehicle and contents whilst being repaired.
  • Sign off QC sheet as per documented process and get the ATA of each department to counter sign if audited under BSI current standards.

Skills and experience required

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in the Body repair of motor vehicles (Paint / Panel MET).
  • Full UK Driving licence.
  • Willing to gain relevant qualifications in line with workshop / site requirements.
  • ATA Qualifications in any area are an advantage but not essential.

As a Vehicle Prep Polisher, you will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for the painting process. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that the cars are thoroughly prepped and free of any imperfections in the paintwork before they are handed over to the painter. This includes prepping, polishing, and inspecting vehicles to ensure a flawless finish.


Key responsibilities

  • Inspect vehicles to identify imperfections, scratches, and blemishes in the paintwork.

Main Job Purpose

We are looking for a meticulous and experienced Qualified Financial Accountant to support the Group Financial Controller in managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance, integrity and reliability of our financial data. You will prepare accurate financial statements and reports, oversee month-end and year-end closing processes and maintain robust financial systems.

You will also work closely with senior management and various departments to analyse financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for improvement. This role will participate in budget preparation, cashflow forecasting and be involved in ongoing system and process improvements.

You will need to be able to be in the Reigate office 3 – 4 days per week during onboarding and then this could transition to 2 – 3 days per week.

What we need you to do:

  • Support the Group Financial Controller in delivering accurate month-end and year-end reports
  • Lead the monthly close process delivering timely and accurate management accounts.
  • Prepare and review critical reconciliations and profit & loss analyses.
  • Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are prepared on a monthly basis, all balances are correct, and differences are investigated.
  • VAT Returns: Responsibility for preparation, review and submission of VAT returns in addition to addressing and VAT queries.
  • Work with the Group Financial Controller on any other compliance submissions
  • Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses
  • Work with the management Accountant and Senior Management Accountant to ensure all overhead costs are accounted for.

  • Collaborate with the HR team to ensure the smooth delivery of payroll each month through an outsourced service
  • Maintain monthly PSA reports and prepare the annual PSA calculation for submission to HMRC
  • Work closely with the auditors to provide documentation whilst coordinating and overseeing the external audit process, managing the response the queries
  • Maintain the Fixed Assets Register and collaborate on new additions or disposals in line with company policies
  • Ensure robust financial control and processes are in place and adhered too as well as meeting financial reporting deadlines with accurate information
  • Maintain knowledge and awareness of financial developments and accounting best practice to ensure compliance

What we need from you:

  • Qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA) with relevant experience in financial accounting
  • Experience working as part of a large finance team in an operationally driven, fast paced business, coupled with team management experience
  • Good problem solving skills with a collaborative approach to make sure the relevant stakeholders are involved at the right time
  • Strong understanding of UK accounting standards and financial regulations
  • Proven experience in preparing financial statements and reports on time and to a high degree of accuracy

We’re looking for an experienced and knowledgeable Senior Management accountant to take responsibility for the production of management accounts and oversee management reporting that enables the business to make commercially sound decisions.

You will partner with all areas of the finance team and work closely with the FP&A team to ensure data is accurate and relevant.

  • Lead and oversee the production of monthly accounts and associated management information reporting, including P&L’s and KPI’s, ensuring insightful and accurate information on business performance
