  • 4 wheel alignment as directed by work order.
  • Quality control of all repairs, with final stage sign off and ATA Signature, noting all non stripped items on the job card.
  • To report all faults, defects noticed whilst working on vehicles.
  • To actively make sure the repair method is in the job pack and is fully read, understood (e-scribe, manufacturer or other source) and displayed with the vehicle at all times.
  • Check Vehicle for warning lights / safety checks, beam setting completed and logged, raise awareness and note on job card.
  • All mechanical work completed in accordance to the agreed specification.

The role

Our Drivers are an integral part of our business, the main purpose of this role is;

  • To ensure safe delivery / collection of all customers vehicles in accordance with the Driver Procedure & Responsibilities Manual and Drivers Process Manual.
  • To take pride in your appearance and wear company standard uniform at all times. Take ownership in your day planning and working cost effectively and with the customer at the forefront all the time.
  • Moving cars in/ out of the workshop at the start or end of the day.
  • Washing customer or courtesy cars where necessary.
  • Locating and moving vehicles for salvage agents.

 


Key responsibilities

  • To ensure safe delivery / collection of all customers vehicles. Ensure you contact every customer before arrival.
  • Complete all Job Pack paperwork neatly and legibly and obtain signatures where required.
  • Mark all damage on vehicle with chalk pen before taking images.
  • Ensure Customer Vehicle Condition Report is complete in addition to any images taken before passing to Estimators.
  • Follow all procedures within the Drivers Procedure and Process Manuals.
  • To comply with the Drivers Tacho Break Regulation 2009 (if applicable).
  • Policy Excess, VAT Bills and Private Quotes – ensure payment has been taken before leaving site – if payment has not been paid, query with the Transport Manager.
  • Ensure courtesy cars are up to standard and safe for customer use. Report any defects or damage to Transport Manager immediately.
  • Ensure you follow the correct procedure when dealing with customer complaints.

  • Underseal, weld through primers, anti corrosion measures are complete before next stage.
  • Strip & refit where necessary including adjustment and panel alignment.
  • Report any defects or damage linked to associated job but not down for repair.

We are looking for a motivated and professional Vehicle Damage Assessor (internally known as Central Engineer) who prides themselves on exceeding customer expectations and delivering the required financial performance.

Main Job Purpose

  • To ensure the efficient and profitable costing of each repair
  • To produce timely and accurate invoices and estimates of each repair to meet key to key and lifecycle target requirement. – timescale etc.
  • To maintain effective control of invoicing costs in line with partners budget objectives
  • To support each site, wherever necessary, to ensure smooth site level operation and maintain high customer service (total loss’s, estimates etc)
  • To carry out initial parts assessments (IPA’s) to reduce key to key & lifecycle times and maintain high customer service
  • Responsible for ensuring all repair methodology is in line with BS10125 standards
  • To comply with any reasonable directive from the management team
  • To identify cases that have not complied with ABL ethos and cases that have shown loss of profit and feed back to management
  • To support with quality of repair complaints where necessary
  • To identify and handle any total loss cases as applicable to SLA requirements

Who we are looking for

  • Technical skills, knowledge and experience of body and paint repair in the retail Accident and Repair industry
  • Technical and estimating experience
  • To attain ATA accreditation if required by the company
  • Knowledge of current estimating systems i.e. Audatex, Glassmatix
  • Knowledge of E-scribe, Glass’s evaluator, Ezi methods or other

The Fleet Administrator plays a key role in ensuring the efficient, compliant, and cost effective management of the organisation’s vehicle fleet. This role supports day to day administrative operations, dealing with fines, maintaining accurate records, coordinates servicing and repairs, and acts as a central point of contact for internal colleagues and external suppliers.


Key responsibilities

Fleet Administration & Coordination

  • Maintain up‑to‑date records for all fleet vehicles, including registrations, insurance documentation, MOT dates, maintenance schedules, mileage logs, and driver assignments.
